Entering the nuclear sector is definitely daunting and requires a clear know-how of the different actors. Since its inception, Damona has been supporting multiple stakeholders in providing material and classes to train organisations, governments and individuals about the nuclear sector.

The trainings focused on:

• The French nuclear supply chain and how the different companies and sites act together. A focus was also put on decommissioning perspectives in this country;
• Nuclear 101, with the physics principles behind nuclear engineering;
• Main decommissioning challenges across the UK nuclear industry;
• The different types of reactor technologies across the world.

This work is still being used to date for new starters in some organisations where we provided those trainings.
